Disable/enable System Integrity Protection

  • Restart the computer
  • Hold down Command-R to reboot into Recovery Mode
  • Click Utilities
  • Select Terminal
  • Enter csrutil [ disable | enable ]
  • Restart the computer into Standard Mode
